• This is a hands-on course and participants may get dirty
• Participants may be exposed to slightly disturbing pictures and visuals (some of our instructors are practicing scientists, if Participants go through their belongings they may come across disturbing images.  PLEASE NOTE:  WE DO NOT SHOW ANY DISTURBING IMAGES TO YOUTH)
• All materials and supplies will be provided.  Participants can bring a pen and notebook for notes if they desire.

Participant Behavior

• Participants are expected to behave responsibly.
• Participants are expected to listen to the instructor.
• Participants are expected to come ready to participate.
• Be respectful of the instructor.
• Be respectful of other participants.
• Be respectful of the facilities being used.
• Be respectful of equipment being used and of other people's property. 

Use of Media

• FORENSICS 101 has permission to use photographs of my child(ren) in the display, distribution, publication, transmission, or otherwise use of photographs, images, and/or video for use in materials that include, but may not be limited to, printed materials such as brochures and newsletters, videos, and digital images such as those on the FORENSICS 101 website.

Medical Release

• In the event that I or my child(ren) needs medical attention, I authorize Forensics 101 staff and give my consent to the Forensics 101 staff to provide such service and/or to transport me or my child(ren) to a hospital or treatment facility. I hereby certify my I and my child(ren) is in good health and may participate in all activities.

Liability

• I understand that I or my child(ren) will be participating in science experiments and they will be handling,  constructing, and working with chemicals and other hazardous materials.  I will not hold Forensics 101 responsible for any damages to my child(ren) or our personal belongings.

Refund Policy

• No refunds will be given for cancellations less than 48 hours before class.  Participants will have the option to reschedule.
• In the event that a course must be cancelled, a full refund will be given or Participants my register for a different workshop.

Home School Law (if applicable)

• If participating in a homeschool program, I understand as a homeschool instructor, that I am the primary teacher of my child(ren). Forensics 101 is a service that I am using to enhance the education of my child(ren) (See Department of Education definition of "home school" for further details).

Discipline

• I understand that in the unlikely event that Forensics 101 deems it necessary, Forensics 101 reserves the right to dismiss a participant for a violation of these rules, without full repayment of fees.
