What is Forensics 101, Inc©?

Forensics 101, Inc Super Sleuths is a mobile science enrichment/entertainment company that offers a wide variety of forensic science programs, camps, workshops, parties, and crime scene experiences to youth and adults. We have developed an invigorating science enrichment program that brings hands-on crime scene science related experiences to youth, teens and adults across the country, reminding everyone that science is FUN. Our goal is to encourage continuous learning and FUN in science by developing and delivering high quality, in-depth forensic science opportunities. Our mission is not only to educate, but to also stimulate a sense of excitement about the various forensic science disciplines. Besides, we know that everyone loves a good MYSTERY!

All of our topics and materials are geared toward the age group participating (from preschoolers through adults). Our activities may include dusting for prints, casting impressions, extracting and observing your own DNA, analyzing trace evidence, studying bullets and trajectory, recovering bones, analyzing your own teeth impressions, practicing handwriting analysis, reading blood spatter patterns, learning computer forensics, identifying unknown substances, studying arson cases, examining bugs, performing autopsies (fetal pig dissection), going deep into the mind with profiling, exploring crime scenes, and so much more.

Because safety is our number one concern, Forensics 101, Inc offers a safe lab environment, with protective eye wear, lab coats, and gloves. All of our blood and other biological material is synthetic and we do not use dangerous or hazardous chemicals. Students are instructed on and constantly reminded of safe lab practices. All of our instructors are carefully screened and must pass a rigorous background check. Forensics 101, Inc is a fully insured corporation.

In addition, Forensics 101 offers the skills and expertise of our forensic scientists to those in law enforcement and the legal profession.
